PRAYERS

Patience Holy Father, as I begin this new day, I give thanks for your loving kindness and your tender mercies which are new every morning! Keep me in the path of righteousness and renew me with your precious Spirit. Not my will but “ your will be done.” When I am tempted to get ahead of your plans for me today, remind me to “delight myself in you.” In the awesome Name of Jesus, Amen.

Protection Lord, you said in Your Holy Word to “fret not.” Today when I am tempted to worry about anything, help me to trust you totally. Help me to know that I am constantly in your presence and that there is nothing to fear. You are with me.  I love you and I celebrate your majesty for You alone are God! In the precious Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Christ. Amen.

Self-Assurance Loving Father, thank you for making me who I am! I am a King’s kid and I have everything that I need. Everything in heaven and earth are Yours. Therefore, I commit today to be a good steward of all that you have given me. Bless me to be a blessing to others and to show love and forgiveness wherever I might be on this day. You are Jehovah, my creator. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Living Gods Word  Dear God, teach me to live your Word each day. I have lived too long without your guidance and without seriously studying Your will for my life. Your Holy Word—the Bible holds the key to life. Open my mind that I might understand it. Open my ears that I may hear Your voice whispering to me on each page. Your word is my lamp and my light. I meditate upon it both day and night. Thank You for the Word. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Praise  Good morning, God. I bow in Your presence in humble adoration for all that you are. You are my God, my Lord and my King. Forgive me for those times when I have turned away from You to seek other “gods.” Thank you for bringing me back from the gates of death and destruction and restoring my hope in You.  You alone are God. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

Unconditional Love Dear God, you loved the world so much that you gave your only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have eternal life. I thank you for the gift of Jesus. Teach me to love others as you have loved us—unconditionally. Help me to do the “loving thing” today without the need for applause or any fanfare. Help me to overlook any offense knowing that your love is smiling upon me today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Thanksgiving   Jehovah, Jireh, Lord you are my provider and I have everything that I need. I sing praises to you, heavenly Father, and I worship You today in spirit and in truth. I am grateful for my life and despite what situations may arise,  I know that You are in control. I lay down all worry, doubts and fears knowing that I am a precious heir to all that you have.  Everything! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Assurance of Salvation "Father I place my complete faith in you:  I confess to you any sin (you may want to name known sins).  I commit myself to the lordship of Jesus.   I claim your promise of assurance;  and I will live in obedience to your commands.   Thank you for the assurance of my salvation.
